Updates from the Field

Last week we (me and Ethel) had the opportunity to bring youth ministry training to Malaybalay City, in the heart of Mindanao. This was on November 26-28 with 15 participants going through the entire strategy seminar.
Malaybalay is the place were I was born so that was one reason to be eager for this particular event. [...]

The Gangs for God

The last stop of the Palawan journey.
This almost didn’t make it. Before the trainings had even begun, we actually placed down “cancelled” for the event as the key person coordinating the training in Puerto Princesa had a conflicting schedule the week before we flew into Palawan. So it was not even included in the plans [...]

We are currently holding one right now in partnership with the PCEC-National Youth Commission.  And it’s here in Manila at the GYMN Office even. We have spaced out the training through 3 Saturdays and Day 1 of the event started on the fine Saturday [...]

Two Days

It was the shortest GYMN seminar as far as I know. The Cainta, Rizal, Level 1 training was done in two days. I was with two Pastor Reys (Rey and Aboy) in this seminar. I know it’s hard to imagine teaching 13 sessions in just two days (and we don’t recommend it, unless Rey would [...]
