Finally… A Tagalog Translation of the GYMN Material

Tagalog ExcerptIn Asia, the notebook materials we use in our trainings have been translated into the languages of Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal. But never into the Philippine language. We’ve been using an English manual in the Philippines because the majority of Filipinos can read and write in English. So our material for the country has always been in English. Until this time that is, because a by-product of the seminars we’ve held in Palawan is we finally have a Tagalog translation of the GYMN manual.

Spearheaded by our host in Palawan, Dr. Villanueva – who did much of the translating process, we have come up with the first Tagalog translation of our material.

From the results of our trainings in Palawan, using this new material will be very effective throughout the Philippines, as many youth leaders we are equipping today grasp the principles better, quite naturally, when taught in their country’s tongue.
